I’ve been as angry as the next person over the demands that the American people bail out Wall Street. This financial mess didn’t just happen over night. Bail out Wall Street? It seems to me it’s more like, “Bail US out.” “Us” being Mr. Bush and his friends that selfishly got us into this mess. Through deregulation, encouraging companies to send jobs over seas, enticing people to buy homes with outrageous sub prime loans and a war that never should have been Bush and company have ruined our economy. Lies upon lies and all to line their own pockets without any regard for the American citizens or our country. John McCain likes to say “Country First,” and has been right there by Bush’s side supporting him 90% of the time through deregulation and supporting a war that has built up the biggest deficit this country has ever seen. I’d like to look him in the eyes and ask him, “Which country do you and Mr. Bush put first? Surely not the United States of America!”
I am certainly no economy expert but I do understand one thing. You can bail out Wall Street to get money and credit flowing again, and help people in foreclosures renegotiate mortgages but without employment who on this earth can pay for those new mortgages and take out loans? A good majority of people who can not pay their mortgages because they have lost their jobs! College students have little prospect of finding work upon graduation. This economy will continue to decline unless people have momey to spend. No jobs, no spending!
Any “bail out” or “recovery” plan should include a large influx of money for job creation. There are jobs that can be created now! Our infrastructure is deteriorating it can start there!

A man may smile and bid you hail
Yet wish you to the devil;
But when a good dog wags his tail,
You know he’s on the level.
~Author Unknown
I read with interest that canines are endorsing candidates in this year’s presidential election over at Paula Reed’s blog and thought I would share this with you. It is said that we should trust children and pets instincts toward people and I couldn’t agree more.
Senator John McCain was speaking when my nine year old grandson arrived just after the presidential debate began Friday evening. He was not happy when I informed him that the tv was mine for the next two hours. He reminded me that I rarely watch tv and wanted to know why I was going to watch that “mean old man.” I once again explained to him how important it was to be informed as to how our government worked and who was going to run it. He then pulled out a book and took over the recliner.
Part way through the debate, “R” said, “Ya know grandma, even Ike would never let that mean man in the White House!” I told him that he might have a good point there but that I thought that Ike would try kindness and love to soothe McCain first before making judgement on him. “R” immediately said, “Nope it wouldn’t work. McCain is too mean and would growl and attact first and kick Ike and then push you out of the away grandma.” Sadly, I had to laugh because I was sure he was right.
Ike was a typical love everyone, silly, happy golden retriever. But with his happy demeaner came a wisdom and intelligence that only dogs of his kind have. He was my best friend and soul mate. We spent 14 years conversing and traveling together through the good times and rough times. Often I read passages from books out loud to him as he rested his chin on my lap or foot. He was very intuitive and and always guided me down the right path. As silly as my Ike was, his wisdom always prevailed. He even saved me from getting lost one day as we hiked in the wilderness of the Adirondack mountains. He had planted himself on the beginning of a path I had not chosen on our return down one of the many mountains. No matter what I said he would not move. Who knows where I may have ended up if I had ingored him and took the path I had chosen!
Ike rarely barked and those few times he did so for good reason. It’s been over a year since he has left this life for another life but his spirit lives on, still guiding and protecting me.
Right now Ike’s spirit is whispering to me, “BARaK,
BARaK,
BARaK!’
Peace!

….. and I’ll tell you how much I blame you and everyone else.
Too often others try to tear us down because they can’t pick them selves up.
Too often others blame us for their failures and decisions.
Too often it is our own children.
Life is a learning experience, but many take the education of life and do not learn.
And so the alcohol claims her once again.
Peace! I wish I could find some

The republican party got a boost in the polls with a little added excitement due to the Sarah Palin nomination and I guess they deserved their days of celebration for all the hard working folk that believe in them, but those days have slipped past and the air has leaked out of the fluff re-exposing John McCain flip flopping like corn being popped. I’m waiting for that kernel of corn to burst.
We are entering another long period which will be riddled with lies that come natural from people who have nothing substantial to say, offer or do! McCain and the neocons are in fear mode as their campaign goes up in flames. These people have no respect for anyone, even them selves as their words and deeds are proven wrong every day, sometimes every hour. John Mccain knows nothing about honor!
These people or should I say bullies, have already started increasing the racist and scandal laden attacks against Obama. Trouble makers, better known as trolls are invading the blogs at a higher rate and hate filled blogs are being generated faster then McBush/Palin can lie. They who are afraid of losing are using fear against the people once again!
McCain lies and thinks you are stupid enough to buy it. The neocons bombard you with more lies.
Wake Up! Your house is on fire!
The skunks will spray you and laugh all the way to the bank.
The black man will reach in and offer you a hand to safety, will you refuse that hand?
Peace!

Sorry McCain, you can run but you can’t hide, they’ll find ya always, the Keating Five!
“McCain attack on Obama and “corrupt Chicago machine” triggers Mayor Daley “Keating 5″ response “ By Fran Spielman
Chicago Sun-Times City Hall Reporter
“You want to play rough? Let’s get it on.
A new ad from Sen. John McCain’s campaign accuses Sen. Barack Obama of being a product of the Chicago political machine. Convicted former Obama supporter Tony Rezko is among those referenced in the ad.
That was Mayor Daley’s angry message to Republican presidential nominee John McCain on Tuesday about the McCain ad that smears Daley’s brother in an attempt to tie Barack Obama to the “corrupt Chicago political machine.”
In essence, Daley warned McCain that people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. He was talking about McCain’s role in the so-called “Keating Five” savings and loan scandal.”

Some of you are too young to remember the savings and loan crisis of the 1980’s and early 90’s. It’s interesting to know how some friendships last and how friends watch each others back. John MCCain has been an advocate of deregulation for years and now that we are in a mess he calls for regulation of banks and financial institutes. Is this quick turn around because he thinks he can get out of it again? Not this time!
From the Nation:
“John McCain’s current circle of confidants seem eerily close to those he surrounded himself with during the Saving and Loans crisis of the late ’80s and early ’90s, when years and years of deregulation that McCain helped facilitate on behalf of Charles Keating–the disgraced chairman of the failed Lincoln Savings & Loan Association–led to the failure of hundreds of banks and a $125 billion bail out footed by tax payers. The scandal, known as the Keating Five, involved five senators who took money from Charles Keating and subsequently challenged the regulators investigating Keating’s operations. “

I’ve really have had a difficult time writing lately. The spiraling stupidity of masses of American minds and lack of thought processing has shocked me into brain over load. Maybe it’s my lack of proper education. After all I didn’t attend five or six different colleges to get a 4 year degree or finish at the bottom of the class. Instead I struggled through a technical vocational school then wracked my brains silly as I took some college courses and also self studied, challenging college exams through the NYS regents external program. Maintaining a 3.8 average while working full time and taking care of two small children must have disqualified me from the realms of lucidity and lies that have lead our country. I guess I am doomed by over working and thought over load.
I learned to respect and tell the truth and to denounce lies, but now publically many are saying, “lies, so what?” I learned to question everything and do my own research. I guess I missed the bridge to no where and took the path to know where instead. I guess I am doomed. If I can’t buy the lies, will my brain be starved and denied salvation?
There must be a genetic flaw in my make up, after all I was missed in the brainwashing of the American people over the years.
Peace

I grew up in a family where domestic violence was the law of the land. I’ve been sitting here staring at the computer with a jumble of memories and thoughts are racing through my mind after watching the web cast made by Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton.
Society as a whole doesn’t realize the impact that domestic violence and women’s rights has on all our lives.
Domestic violence effects every single one of us from our children to our economy, from our school rooms to the board rooms. The lack of equality for women effects all of us, not just the good old boys that would rather keep women and children under their control.
John McCain has voted against women’s issues many times over and his side kick Sarah Palin hasn’t a good track record either. Barak Obama and Joe Biden with Hillary Clinton at their side will fight for women to better our society.
Here is the video of Joe and Hillary answering questions on women’s issues. Yes issues! There is only one candidate running for President of the United States that actually talks about the issues that effect the people, Barak Obama.
Peace!

Yes the fundamentals of our economy ARE strong!
The fundamentals of McCain/Bush economy are strong enough to lift up our manufacturing plants and send them over seas!
The fundamentals of McCain/Bush economy are strong enough to rip that house out from under you!
The fundamentals of McCain/Bush economy are strong enough to crush our educational system!
The fundamentals of McCain/Bush economy are strong enough to build towers of CEO’s making millions of dollars!
The fundamentals of McCain/Bush economy are strong enough to bounce over the pot holes and and hold up that bridge so you can vacation in NO WHERE!
The fundamentals of McCain/Bush economy are strong enough to make our homeland secure in our dependence on oil, foreign tainted agriculture, toys, appliances, cars and of course their money to pay our debts!
The fundamentals of the McCain/Bush economy are strong enough to take you down down down America!
John McCain said that, “we’ve made great progress economically, in the Bush years.” Yup, yup! Today John McCain said, “our economy was fundamentally strong.” Yup. yup!
Today Septemeber 15, 2008, our financial institues are in crisis, the stock market is trembling, and our unemployment rates keep rising. Investments made over seas took the buying power of the American people away with their jobs. Trillions of dollars invested in a war that should never have happened were investment into the decay of the infrastructure of our country and the further decay of our homeland security, and lined the pockets of rich oil corperations.
Today Barak Obama said,”The challenges facing our financial system today are more evidence that too many folks in Washington and on Wall Street weren’t minding the store. Eight years of policies that have shredded consumer protections, loosened oversight and regulation, and encouraged outsized bonuses to CEOs while ignoring middle-class Americans have brought us to the most serious financial crisis since the Great Depression.”
Remember the Great Depression? No? Ask your grandparents or great grandparents. Or check the Wikipedia. You will see a view of the past along with it’s results and I guarrentee, you will not like it!
Today the Federal government made it easier for banks to borrow money in hopes of stabilizing a the financial crisis we now face. WHO will the banks borrow money from? Will they borrow money from the government, your money? WHO will the government borrow money from? Will they borrow money once again from China? China already owns a good part of our souls!
It’s time that the American people ate their wheaties and devoured their spinach and got the strength to stand up to the failed McCain/Bush policies and took our governement back!
It’s time for the American people to stand up and get beyond their bias and bigotry in order to save their lives and secure their children’s future!
It’s time for the American people to tear down the wall of fear McCain and his buddy Bush places in front of them and put the fear into them and their failed polices!
I heard a rumor that said, “God helps those that help themselves.” Isn’t it time that you prayed to God to give you the strength to stand up and fight back to get your lives in control once more! Isn’t it time to pray for the strength to stop helping the rich and to start helping your selves! Isn’t it time to pray for the strength to stop listening to lies and to stop helping those that are out to destroy your children’s future for the sake of money? They won’t be happy till they have your souls!
Like a squirel running back and forth across the road as a vehicle approaches, so goes our economy faultering in indecision, bad judgments, and poor leadership waiting for the next McCain/Bush express.
Peace!
