On to the Future

August 31, 2008 · 3 Comments

Much has happened in the past month since I have not been able to blog. My computer decided to take a vacation and was in the shop for a bit and I have to admit that after the initial shock of being without the internet I did survive! The worse part of not being able to blog was missing the opportunity to voice my excitement over the emotional and outstandinng Democrat National Convention as it unfolded. Not since JFK have I been excited over any election and I was too young then to get involved. I’ve known deep down for a long time that Barak Obama was the one to lead us through these almost impossible times of stagnation, unrest and turmoil and that he was the one to inspire the people to start working and fighting to take our country and our lives back on a possitive path. After listening to Obama’s acceptance speech I find it hard to believe that many are left with any doubt, but we know doubt exists. The fact remains that we have much work ahead to make this happen. It’s OUR duty to make it happen. Barak Obama is one man and can be a great leader but not without us, the people!

John McCain is a short fuse on a bomb of mass destruction waiting to be lit. He promises to march down the same path dragging us with him as Bush has done. A path that will lead us further into a stagnant swamp of decomposed matter that was once filled with life and hopefulness!

For years the republicans have tapped into our lives and drilled through the essence of our beings to cypher what is good in order to fill their own tanks of self gratifications!

It’s time we pulled ourselves out of the depressed state of No Where and entered the state of Be Aware and traveled the path to Some Where!
